Youth Advocacy in Action Workshop
Jefferson County Communities That Care (Jeffco CTC), Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH), and Mi Familia en Acción invite you to attend an evening where you can learn more about advocacy, why your voice matters in advocacy spaces, and how to speak up for change in ways that feel authentic and doable.
The training is for youth age 11-22 and is on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Lakewood Public Library (10200 W. 20th Ave. Lakewood, CO 80215).
Dinner will be provided. Attendees will have a chance to win a gift card.
Float and Flick at Apex Parks and Recreation District
Make a splash at the Teen Float-in Movie Night. Hosted by the Apex Youth Advisory Board, this event isn’t just about the pool. It’s about plugging into what’s happening in Jefferson County and your neighborhood. Join us for a fun evening for youth to float and connect.
Lilo and Stitch will be shown on the pool deck.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
